It’s almost tea time and I still have to finish the gifts for my guests.
I decided to make lavender shortbread this year and wrap them with pretty ribbon and a tag. The recipe calls for the shortbread to be rolled in course granulated sugar so as part of my gift I made these cute spice jars filled with sugar.
But I haven’t got a clue as to how to treat the tops and handles of the boxes that will hold all the goodies.
Any ideas?

To decorate the box I would suggest to hot glue a pretty ribbon around the top of the box and put some pretty bows at the bottom where each handle meets the box. I'm sure whatever you do will be very pretty.

Awwww, how pretty! Cute jars and labels! A lace paper doily attached to the top of the package is always a sweet idea. Sounds like a wonderful recipe willing to share?
Let us know how they turn out.

Oh Cori, they are adorable!!! You are such a perfectionista. Love the labels that you designed matching the gift box. Of course, I do have a large amount of matching pillows...teehee. Teeny tiny birdies nests? You could make them with that dried grassy nesty stuff and hot glue...carefully. LoVe the cake stand!!! **kisskiss** Deb
OH! They are sweet! I don't know about finishing touches! Sometimes I over do so I hold back. They are wonderful your guests will really enjoy them!
Hugs, Lisa
how wonderful...that course sugar makes anything extra special. Can you find any tiny viney something to wrap around the handle to match with the swag hanging down on your labels. I'm sure the inspiration will hit you...you are so creative. I missed your last post....your outdoor sleeping area sounds fun....we would be eaten alive by mosquitoes.....we would have to hang netting...but then our sudden storms where every thing blows side ways would fly through...hmmm, perhaps I shall be content to enjoy any pictures you post and rejoice in your fun!
your jars & basket so lovely (I would love to recieve as is)depending on what direction you want to go ... you could do sparkle tissue or lace or linen large size fabric napkins (place mat like) OR something that is very inexpensive like .30 cents a yard & delicate & would PERFECt is tulle and they have it in every color & even sparkle .... you know
The jars are sweet with the ribbon. Or how about a small paper doily as a topper and then ribbon? You could also twist ribbon around the handles with a bow on each side. What kind of sugar is in the jars? It sure looks good! Have fun. Thanks for sharing.
Wrapped in white tulle, of course!
These are so adorable. And you are so very talented with your photoshop...i love these twinkles. Are these for the annual pinkies tea?
What a beautiful and thoughtful gift, obviously coming from a beautiful and thoughtful lady!
Have a wonderful week!
Hugs Melly:)
