I can’t!!!!
I think those are two of the worst words in the English language, don’t you?
But today I learned that there are a few things I “can’t” do with my new camera…
I can’t take picture with my glasses on
I can’t take pictures while wearing a hat…
and I can’t remember how to set my aperture
But I’ll tell you ONE thing that I “CAN DO”…
I can trip over the curb and fall to my knees then gracefully roll to the left before my shoulder slams into the pavement. All this was done while balancing my camera by its lens (and perfectly, I might add) to keep it from hitting the ground. Did I mention my legs flailing in the air while my shoulder made contact with the concrete?
Maybe I should have left that part out.
Anywho, I’m off to ice my swollen knee caps…
I hope your day hasn’t been as exciting as mine…she says with a giggle.

Oh my dear Cori......please be resting this week! I just have a cheap little camera - but someday.....ooohhhh.
Love the don't take photos sign you took a photo of! I hope your knees aren't too bad. What fun you are having with your new camera...
Thanks Ladies...nothing a little Tiger Balm can't cure. It's a good thing I had jeans on or my knees would have been in worse shape ;-O.
Ellen B, I was nice and asked the store owner if I could take the picture. I figured if I was caught it would be mighty embarrassing :-).
Oh dear---I've fallen twice while mowing. I'm sure they were both pure grace. Thus I can imagine hour stunt roll. Glad you weren't hurt worse. The glasses issue wiling interesting to see how you resolve it. (c:
You told us your story with such a bit of whimsy, I couldn't help but chuckle, just a bit. How is your family doing? I have been thinking about you.
Linda
Hi Linda, I had a wee bit of a chuckle myself once I picked myself off the pavement. My knees are still sore and bruised...wah. We're doing well just trying to stay cool in the heat. How are you?
