Oh so pretty! Love the little pitcher. Is that one of your second hand store finds? I MUST come on one of your adventures. **blows kisses** Deborah

Hi Cori,

I just have to tell you that I was blog surfing with my cat lying next to me with my warm laptop and as soon as I clicked on your blogsite and your fairy music came on (the volume was up too), he jumped up and looked around like he'd just seen a ghost! He couldn't figure out where it was coming from and was puzzled about all the twinkling sounds; it was pretty funny...

I love dance too and have tried to learn using Netflix DVD on various styles. I love Hawaiian and Tahitian and found some DVD's that are excellent for a workout--beginning to advanced, depending on how my back is feeling--that are taught in a simple, pleasant way called the "Island Girl" series-there are 5 or 6 and the ones done in 2003 aren't as good as the one's in 2004. It's fun and pretty easy to catch on to, I feel like I am at the beach and I like to dress the part to get into the "Island Girl" vibe. It's kinda like belly dancing, but for beach lovers! And it feels a bit more "wholesome" for a Christian girl like me... and you don't even feel like your'e workin' out!

Hi Barb,

I've never heard of the Island Girl Series, but it does sound fun!
I started belly dancing about 5 years ago and am really terrible at it, but it's great exercise and a lot of fun too! And we wear sweats and tee-shirts. I have to admit that I'm VERY conservative and would never dance in public or show my stomach. People would run in terror...LOL!!! But I do love the costumes, colors, and the variety, + it's just really girly and pretty.
I think that most people have the wrong concept about belly dancing (thanks to Hollywood) as it was more a dance of celebration and not about sexuality, but as a rule of thumb (what does that mean anyway?) it's good to be careful and walk away when things are going off in the wrong direction.

Hula away my friend ;-)
