A Glorious Morning

 easter-roses

Did you all have a lovely Easter? I do hope so! We rose early to attend the Sunrise service at our little chapel in the canyons and it was freezing cold outside! There we sat bundled in blankets watching the sun rise over the mountain tops. It was such a glorious morning.

Afterward we came back to our little cottage to finish housework before our guests arrived.

But with my garden beckoning me outdoors it was hard to stay in… alas, there was still so much to do.

Puppies romped in the yard searching for hidden Easter eggs.

The poppies opened their petals to enjoy the warmth of the Son.

The little one’s searched too.

All in all it was a very blessed day.

Ahh...it looks like you had a nice day, too. I'll tell ya it takes some time on that couch after a wonderful Easter celebration to recuperate. I hear you had a little rain down there. I have that Easter bread recipe posted on my blog with some photos under Nadia's Kulich...
Hope the rest of your day off is wonderful...

Oh Cori, every single photo is sooooo sooooo beautiful! You have always been very good, but your photography is growing and blossoming and I am reaping the benefits! And now I must skip off to the garden and play. Unemployment...it's a good thing!

The puppies have the right idea. To frolic in the warm weather is very tempting! :)

Your gardens always beckon me too. Is that sweet lil Coco? She got her hair cut! Such a cutie.
