Do you remember, "The Sign?"
For the past few weeks this has been it's message.
I'm still trying to figure out what it means.

My first thought is you have to get up off your behind if you want to accomplish anything!

I think it means that before "Man" can make a difference in the world he first must make a difference in his own life.

Hugs to you~xoxoRebecca

one cannot begin to change things on a grand scale without first changing oneself...the journey begins with a single step!

I just read your sign. It made me laugh and think--I need to get up and do something, but visiting blogs so much more fun than work! ♥♫

wow...Well for me this hits home...recently I found I was having a pity party and I needed to chose to move my gaze and get on out of the pit....I wasn't doing anything to love on the world....I needed to love myself first. And now I'm feeling the joy again...the kind that you want to spread around.

I believe it means if we are to accomplish anything we need to be putting forth an effort.

Yes yes.. I see what you mean...

I get it, I think ;)

I shan't go fiddling around with the greater world outside my gates, until I fiddle around with me own wee world... is that it?

Thinking ... Humm ... Maybe it means to put selfish desires aside & be more giving to others.
Help where we can & give when we can. Do for others ... If we all would do this ... The world as we know it would diffently change. :)

Hi Glenda, and welcome! Thanks for leaving a comment. I agree...if we thought of others before we thought of ourselves the world would be a much better place.
