Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
Let your gentleness be known to all men.
The Lord is at hand.
Be anxious for nothing,
but in everything by prayer and supplication,
with thanksgiving,
let your requests be made known to God;
and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren,
whatever things are true,
whatever things are noble,
whatever things are just,
whatever things are pure,
whatever things are lovely,
whatever things are of good report,
if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—
meditate on these things.
Let your gentleness be known to all men.
The Lord is at hand.
Be anxious for nothing,
but in everything by prayer and supplication,
with thanksgiving,
let your requests be made known to God;
and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren,
whatever things are true,
whatever things are noble,
whatever things are just,
whatever things are pure,
whatever things are lovely,
whatever things are of good report,
if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—
meditate on these things.

Lovely. I read the book of James in the message remix yesterday...so good. I'm a King James lover, but I like the poetry of the message.
Hi Fairmaiden,
I have a confession to make...I had never read the Message until about a year ago when I started reading your blog. All the scriptures you've referenced have been so beautiful and descriptive and me being the narrow road girl that I am probably wouldn't have picked it up had I not read your blog...thank you for that gift.
I myself am a New King James girl, but I also enjoy the Amplified.
Then, I thank you both for this lovely post. This is a favorite passage for me.
Edifying! Thanks for sharing. I like the way you formatted it, makes it so light and easy to read.
Nighty~night. {o)
