I woke this morning to the sound of pouring rain beating against the window panes. I can't remember how long its been since its rained this hard or for such a long period of time. Usually when the weather man says, "There's rain in the forecast" it rains everywhere but here. On our drive to Jacksonville I was shocked at how low the lakes and reservoirs were.

As I lay there in bed listening to the rain beat against the windows I was reminded of one of my favorite scriptures and thought I would share it with you. It's from Isaiah 55: 9-11

For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.
10 “ For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater,
11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

I hope you all have a wonderful rain soaked day, but not too soaked.

I LOVE the book of Isaiah. I don't think we have a clue of His ways. I think we're going to be very surprised when we see Him face to face.
We had unusually warm weather for a couple of days. Yesterday at noon it was 61--CRAZY. A front came through and dropped the temp to 40 in seconds. By 4 it was 10 degrees, sleet, ice pellets, snow, thunder and lightening--all at once. CRAZY.
Hope you have a grand week Cori!

Oh! Horses! They sure are pretty.
Christmas caroling. We used to do a Christmas caroling hayride through the neighborhood with our church, then come back for hot cocoa, cider and fellowship.
Lovely, much needed rain is falling here in Nor Cal as well. I pray we get snow soon, or we will be in a very bad way next year.

This scripture has actually been in my pondering thoughts as of late too. It is such a hopeful promise, isn't it. It fills me with hope and keeps me praying for that which I cannot see, but know He says will be. Bless you my sister in Christ<><
