You struggle, My child, when you could as easily rest in My arms. You concern yourself with the actions of others and neglect the important things: to abide in Me. He who abides in me has no need to be anxious. When you are moving out of My divine will, you have unrest. Abiding brings confiding. For to know Me is to trust Me, and trust brings peace.

Cori.. I am so glad I came across your post today. This book might just be the thing a friend of mine needs right now.

Thank you,

why do we struggle so when it would be so much easier to surrender?

Beautiful...abiding used to be so easy...my abiding with Him is changing...that's good but it takes more effort than it used to...but that's okay. Pursuing Him

You know, Cori, this is so true. I have learned that I don't need to worry and fret because God will take care of everything.

I hope you had a happy birthday. Any of that cake left? ;-)

I would love to see The Young Victoria, but I can't find it showing anywhere around me.

Such a beautiful devotion...you always find the best and most thoughtful ones.

You aksked if I finished my Christmas shopping ...I am so behind on everything this year between being away and my fractured foot which is hard to walk on. I ordered over the internet and from catalogs and I am just waiting for two things yet to come. I'm finally catching up! :-)

Do you have special plans for Christmas? Have a very blessed and merry day!

Hugs, Pat
