Words I swore I would NEVER utter...

There are two things in life that a girl can never have enough of, no,
make that three.

Chocolate, China, and Pillows,
and not necessarily in that order.

However, this girl is beginning to wonder about the emotional attachment to pillows and if maybe there is a limit to the amount of pillows one girl can possess!
Hubby and I were having a conversation the other day about all the pillows scattered hither and yon throughout our petite little cottage. I only have 11 on our bed and 10 on the guest bed plus there are those on the couch as well as every chair in our darling dwelling. Hubby once commented that people don't like visiting because they have to fight off the pillows...
and I always thought it was my cooking.
Can you imagine not wanting to visit me because I have too many pillows? Me neither, until I decided to curl up on the couch in my office, and you know what? I couldn't find anywhere to sit. I could have tried doing my "Princess and the Pea" act by climbing to the top of my pillow pile, but I knew they would rebel and send me plummeting to the floor below. Pillows with attitude!
Maybe there was some truth to what hubby said. Maybe my pillows were pushing people off the couch and poking them in the back. Maybe too many pillows isn't such a good thing after all...
What do you think and how many pillows do you have?

Oh, the room? We're still waiting for the varnish to dry before we seal it with polyurethane.
And I thought I'd be painting by now...silly me!

Well I just threw away two pillows today but darn if I didn't replace them with two fresh ones :0)
I really don't have that many peoples out and about. 2 new ones on the family room sofa, 3 on the living room sofa, 3 on the guest room sofa/bed, and when our bed is made which isn't very often here in Washington there are 6 on the bed! I bet your floor is going to be gorgeous!!

No, no, no, noone can ever have TOO MANY pillows. They would not push me away. I'm also addicted to them. Everytime I walk into Homegoods I want just one more.

I suppose 'IF' you ever decided to get rid of some you could give them as gifts to your guests when they leave. Now that would be something to remember BrambleBerry by.

I don't have many pillows, Cori ....and I'm not sure why? I don't shop enough, I think..lol! I have only one extra on each bed, besides our regular sleeping pillow, and on my sofa I only have the pillows that came with it.
But if I visited you and there were too mamny pillows to sit on your couch I'd just hold them on my lap and rest my elbows on them, nice and soft :-)

What art thou testing dear sister? Whether the reply button works...it does indeed ;D!
I'm so sorry but I think I may have taken your three pillows to work on Wednesday. I just needed to sit pillow free.

Love me

Oh dear. Pillows be gone!

I was testing my blog. I am trying to post a picture to go with my excerpt, but I am having no luck. I am taking something I put together on illustrator, but now I'm thinking I need to transfer it to photoshop. Still learning here...

Love,

Robin
