The Letter G

Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all ways tempted as we are, yet without sin.
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 4: 14 & 16

I am in awe of what God is doing in me through this idea of His. This scripture brought me to tears this morning. I am an intercessor and this is one of my favorite scriptures to share with others who feel they can't pray. It speaks so well to the intimacy we have with our Lord. "Thank You Lord for laying this on Cori's mind."

Hope you have a great day. I usually check back with all the blogs several times during my Thursday's to see if they've added a scripture. Most excellent encouragement to my day.

This passage gives such a powerful invitation to appropriate the grace which God offers so freely...and our High Priest, Jesus Christ, has made it all possible.
Thanks for pointing out this your other blog.

Praise the Lord for His wonderful mercy and grace, and for a Saviour and Intercessor who understands all that we go through, and who understands us so completely.
