Tea & Friendship

Well would you look at that...
it's Cori G. sitting with Ellen B.

Ellen and I found each others blogs about a year ago through a tea-a-thon and once it was over we just kept posting comments on each others blogs. Every now and then she would post somewhere she had been and I would comment that I had just been in the same area and that our paths must have crossed as we were traveling in opposite directions. Well, today those paths intersected and what a treat it was.
We met at a nearby bakery and only had an hour to sit and share stories and laugh all over a cup of tea...her's was hot, mine was iced...tea nonetheless. It was so much fun to have so many questions answered and discover more about who The Happy Wonderer really is.

We talked about our childhoods, books we've read, and our common belief in Jesus the Messiah. I think we covered a lot of ground in one hour don't you Ellen B.?
Sadly our hour passed too quickly and it was time for us to part ways, but I left feeling privileged and blessed to have met such a wonderful woman and friend. Hopefully we can do it again.

There is nothing like getting together to talk! How fun for you to get to visit with each other.

I really like your new header and the valentines. I have not been by for a while, forgive me. I am wrapped up in bookshelves, files and diapers! :0)

Have a blessed week. ((hugs)) ~Mo

It was a very fast hour! I think we could have talked for a few more if we added some food with that tea :0)
What a joy it was to meet face to face. I'll be posting sometime soon with those great socks in my post too :0) Is that ok?
Blessings on you Cori G!

It must be tea time all over blogland. How fun that must have been. Who knows maybe one day we can share tea too. Come on over to my blog and I will show you where I would take you.

What a wonderful time!!! And cute picture of you both. I do believe our paths will cross someday, Cori. It may not be till my kids are on their own, and hubby and I will be traveling around in our vintage cottage camper. I do want to travel down South, just to visit you, and meander through your beautiful fairy ring and gardens. Bella can play with Coco and Elmo. How fun it will be.

Sorry about not getting back to you about the cottage sign. I only check my emails about once a week, and when I got yours it was over the busy painting weekend. I had no time to respond then and then guess what happens...I forget...darn memory has faded as I'm aging. I used to have the best memory! 'If' you want to create one for Sea Cottage of course I would love it. But I don't know if I will use it in the header because I'm fond of the simple one I have now. Thank you. oxox Fairmaiden

Nice photo too! Hope you'll be able to enjoy each other's company again soon.
