Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:
“ For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry.

Hebrews 10: 35-37

I love the book of Hebrews and the Jewishness behind it for we have all been grafted in to the commonwealth of Israel ( For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you). Romans 11:16-18 (I love Romans too)!

Back to my point of endurance:

I believe the time is short and we are coming to the end of this present age and we all have NEED OF ENDURANCE!! If you are feeling weak and weary, hang in there, don't give up, keep fighting the good fight! And remember that The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY
has engraved your name in the palm of His hand!

First of all, I come for a visit and find birdies and butterflies on your header, both very special to me! I felt right at home! Then I just love the design of your blog! It is so pretty!

And your message - well I will just say a heart AMEN! On all counts! It is time for The Bride to get EARNEST (to borrow from Pamela's Word) about preparations for the coming of the Groom! And we must all encourage one another - so much the more as we see the day approaching!

Great message! Thank you! Great to meet you!

Cori...I am in need of endurance today. Thank you for the reminder that my name is engraved on the palm of God's hand! I will look at my name and my hand differently today! This was wonderful.

Cori, you have spoken to me on so many levels today. I, too, really love delving into both Hebrews and Romans--there's so much meat in those epistles to sustain us. As believers we need endurance to run the race until Jesus comes, either for the body of Christ, or for us individually. Thank you for this word of encouragement, and also for the reminder that our name is written on God's palm. Such a blessing!

All the best, Lana

Hi Cori, I am so glad I came over today. I really needed to be reminded not to give up, and keep trusting in the Lord that he will bring things to pass, and this mountain that I'm facing will be removed.

Wow!! I'm reading about encouragement, earnestness, and now endurance!!

Yes, we need all of these things and more to complete the race that is ahead of us!!

I love this--"The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY has engraved your name in the palm of HIS hand!"

And when I read your "E", I got the distinct feeling that the "things" that I thought were so important that I complete today--well, they're not that important after all. But, there is something that is more important--spending a day in solitude with God!!
