Fun Monday!

This is my lovely contribution to FUN MONDAY! that is being hosted this week by: Hula Girl at Heart. This weeks topic is :Clothes you can't part with." If you would like to see other peoples clothes from who knows what era, simple click on "Hula Girl" above.

Do any of you remember Gunni Sax from the seventies and eighties? Well, they were my favorite! Actually they still are, but I can't exactly walk around in wedding gowns so I merely look at them in the magazines.
I purchased this skirt when I was a junior in high school (1978). I still have it hanging in my closet with the sweet little black velvet jacket. Every year I tell myself that I'm going to lose enough weight so I can wear it and when the next year rolls around I tell myself the same thing. Wishful thinking! I have two whole boxes of this stuff all dripping in yummy lace.
What kind of fun clothes do you have stashed in your closets or boxes?

I wore a Gunni sax to my prom and still have it packed up in the basement! Thanks for the reminder, I've got to show it to my girls!

Such goals are well worth having. They may not happen as we think they should. Look at the Lakers, Big Brown's third race, and the White Sox against the Cubs.

Gunni Sax was my very favorite. I had several things from that designer that I can still see in my mind, every little detail. I even made some of my own clothes and tried the Gunni Sax patterns. All the tucks and ruffles were hard for me, but I did it. :)

Love your site. I collect Gingerbread, so your title caught my eye.

Blessings,

Beverly

Such a pretty set! I've given up hope of ever losing the weight I need to, so my thin clothes have been given to charity a long time ago!
