My screen is finally finished!

Handy Hubby with his trusty paint brush. Without this man's wonderful talents I would have a plain metal screen door.

This is the view as you enter the rose covered arbor that leads to the winding path that ends at the door to our little cottage. As you can see we have no shortage of picket fences here at Bramble Berry. After all, what is a cottage without a picket fence...or two...or three...or four.

This is the tiny little forlorn porch that has lacked adornment until now, but I think maybe I've been inspired enough to buy some pretty plants to set along side my mailbox. In the past there were hanging flower baskets full of fuscia, allisum, and ivy that hung from the beams above the pickets. Maybe it's time to replant them to help make the porch more inviting. If only I had room for a small cast iron chair.

If you look closely you can see my sweet little Elmo peeking through the screen door.

Doesn't Elmo match perfectly with his new screen?

I see Elmo peeking through the screen. Your porch is storybook cute!!! What a fairytale cottage with that whimsical screen door and miles of picket fence. Enchanting.
